Sometimes you find you have enough bits lying around to put a whole kit together. It's a good way to clean out some clutter.

This one is for my sister in-law's Friday bar she runs in her house for friends. The snare is a Star badged Swingstar, the rack tom is an early 70s Yamaha 13", the floor tom is an old Drouyn (Australian) 13" tom converted (don't worry, the drum had been drilled for the Ludwig lugs and an MIJ mount etc when I aquired it so drilling for the leg brackets didn't seem like too bad an idea). The bass drum is unknown. It had once had centre lugs but has had these ones installed at some point.

It actually all sounds pretty good - ok, to be fair, those MIJ snares are pretty rough sounding.

Great! I love JB's!

I just rounded up enough 'orphans' out of my attic to do an all Ludwig 22 13 16 w/an Acrolite... got tons of them.

Yeah, gonna be Jellin'! :D

Mine won't have nearly as cool wraps as yours though...

Very nice.
