I know- "So many vintage Japanese drums, so little time to rescue them all, and so much money." Postage has incapacitated me, however a US buddy might like it!
Japanese "SUPREME" snare 0.99c
Someone in Canada should snag this snare. It is indeed a sleeper. This is a Star drum and will sound great in the right hands. I'm telling you, don't turn your noses up at this guys. I know you all look at it and think. "MIJ crap". Well, you can get your hands on this one cheap enough, so try it, you might just find that you'll get a great workhorse of a drum. Is it worth 140? Hell no! But if you can grab it cheap, do it!
Wait a minute, something ain't right in little Montreal...Why is this listed on Australia when the owner lives in British Columbia????

Lol, cause it posts for $150USD. hehe. Who says MIJ is crap?
A very high percentage of our brethren will look at this drum and merely dismiss it as such. It is sad to say, but true. I have one with a different set of hoops, lugs and strainer. It is an exact steel copy of a Slingerland GK Radio King. This particular drum is the one I rave most about. It is a beast. Sounds range all over the place; highs, lows you name it, it will take it without any scary tones. I have played it with 4 different heads and it sings like you'd never imagine. BTW, this is the same as a KingBeat Star/TAMA, minus the parallel strainer.
