It's a New Zealand bank commercial, but...

...for lovers of obscure British drums it will be interesting, and it looks like a BOP version, too.

Ha. I haven't seen that. Shows how much TV I watch.

Do we need to supply some basic translations?

flat = shared house rented as a group

blue top = full cream h0mogenized milk

Thanks for posting this. I'm interested both in NZ and British drums. I can't tell what kind of drums those are (need specs), but the commercial is fairly amusing. Will you enlighten, or should you wait for someone that knows in a flash what they are? Anyway, thanks for posting; I have a small collection of various vintage British drums.

Those look like vintage Hayman drums.

I notice there is now a Hayman website as if they have been resurrected. I didn't know that.

Yep, they are Hayman drums and they look to be a "Recording kit" which are especially rare. Here's mine

Great looking kit. I would like a Hayman snare.

Nice hayman, but it doesn't look like original finish?

I know this is an old thread but happened upon it when not a lot else was happening.

Tim Robinson put this set together. It is made up of orphan drums and re wrapped in some Champagne Sparkle he had a friend bring back from the states. The 18" kick was picked up in a local thrift type store and the 12, 13, & 16 toms were a trademe purchase that I then on sold to Tim and were rescued from certain death with the assistance of a man that is clever with things of wood. Job well done.

Good to know. So the 18" shell is Hayman or just Hayman hardware?
