The Italians made many different levels of cymbals to fit many different budgets. Their very best are as good as anyone else's best.

UFIP makes some very nice cymbals. My local dealer had a tree full of different models a while back and although the they weren't my cup of tea. they were definitely quality cymbals. While the rides and crashes I heard don't produce the sounds I prefer, I, and others, has noted that their splashes are first rate.

If we are talking about vintage cymbals, then there are more Italian makers to talk about. The early Toscos were terrific and those marked F&F Zanchi can be superb, especially in the smaller sizes. Later Toscos can be mediocre and those marked Zanki as well. The Sabian B20's ,which are in fact Toscos are excellent cymbals but all I have come across are in the heavy range and the UFIP made, Ajaha ride cymbals 20" and up represent a very high level of the cymbal makers art. I have had a lot of 20" rides go through my hands and the finest one I have ever played is a UFIP made Ajaha with 2 blank rivet holes.

Didn't UFiP distribute all those other Italian brands tho?

UFIP was responsible for an almost unbelievable number of cymbal brands and although Tosco was owned by two individuals associated with UFIP or formerly associated with it, it was a separate factory and made very different cymbals. Presumably they had their own distributors and eventually, Sabian distributed them. Zanchi was a separate factory as well. Even after UFIP became associated with Zanchi and began rotocasting, the cymbals are dissimilar.

There were beautiful "Spizzichino" cymbals from 1980 to 88', when owner came into Bespeco with his brand "Spizz".

Some later, chineses stolen his brand on their wuhan...

Spizzichinos' sound like old Turkish K's.... Closer than anything I've heard.
