My neighbor has a pedal that needs a new home. He is old school and just can't seem to get into all the 387 ways to adjust it. Anyway, here is the link, and the pic. I think he said he used it twice, maybe?

This is why I recently went back to using a Ghost pedal....simple, fast, reliable, effective, and simple to adjust.......not that it needs it, they've always been best at the factory settings. :) Oh, and they are built like tanks!

No, no, no.

Dumb, this is an example of why drums

are slowly getting better.

This is a Demon Driver, It has all the benefits of a

fast pedal without compromising power.

If you play one I promise you'll love it.

Adjusting is easy, and it's the first pedal to have an adjuster

for the distance from the beater to head, horizontally.

Like I was saying, REALLY GOOD, EXPENSIVE pedal.

Anyway, how much does he want for it?

I'm very familiar with this pedal (Pearl Demon Drive). I just don't like it. It's not my cup o' tea. instead of saying so, I thought it would be more fun to poke at the overdesign of it. I use both modern (DW, Tama, Yamaha, Mapex, etc, etc, etc.) and vintage (Ludwig, Slingerland, Rogers) pedals. Like 'em both for various reasons. Just don't care for this new Pearl one myself. Definitely don't like the name.

Too much adjustabiity is dumb if you ask me. Its just something you have to keep tinkering with forever until it drives you so nuts that you sell it on craigslist! Laughing H

I'll take a simple Camco/DW 5000 strapdrive/Floating action, Speed King, or Ghost any day with their "feels good out of the box and you don't have to mess with it for a million years" feeling. Sometimes simple IS better.

If you read the webpage about this thing on Pearl's website everything under the sun adjusts on it. Footboard angle, length, beater angle, height, spring tension, return angle, etc......just too many adjustments for a device that was originally very simple. There's a reason the speed king is still made the exact same way for over 50 years. Its simple and it works. All that adjustability is mainly a marketing ploy. We have more adjustments to fine tune it to make it your personal pedal than brand X.......

Who gives a flying monkey! I want to be able to take a pedal out of the box, clamp it to the hoop and play without having to make a zillion adjustments to fine tune it to the way I like it. If the factory can't figure it out first time, if it doesn't feel right, no amount of "fine tuning" is gonna make it feel right to me. A Ghost, a speed king, heck even a floating action felt right right out of the box without messing with it. Keep on Pl

I have to agree the speed king is a very sweet pedal, but sometimes I like

to mess with little things here and there, not to mention this thing looks built like a tank imo, so it would probablly hold up longer.
