I am interested in an Istanbul K zildjian that has the stamp in the middle of the cymbal as apposed to near the edge
Is this normal
I tried to attach a picture but was not able
Any thoughts

mid 50's is the era...
I have had a lot of K's,and for the most part, didn't like this era.....
Earlier ones to me were better....
Thank you for the reply
I was worried it might be a fake
Do you have any you where thinking of selling or trading
Thanks again
No,can't find them anymore......for a decent price anyway....

The location of your trademark doesn't guarantee that its not a fake. Without a good picture of the trademark its not possible to make that assessment. All we know at this point is that the location of the trademark does not preclude it's being genuine. But it doesn't guarantee it.
Assuming it's a real K, it's either an Intermediate Stamp (most likely), or a New Stamp, which was occasionally closer to the middle of the cymbal, and not always at the edge. Old stamps were always at the edge.
