Is this Slingerland Tilter Screw original?

I picked up a Slingerland flat-base cymbal stand today for cheap, and this was the screw that adjusted the cymbal tilter. It was threaded into a recessed square nut that sat flush with the outside of the tilter. The threading is standard 1/4".

I'm not too familiar with Slingerland stuff, so I thought I would defer to the experts.

Thanks,

V

Not original

Thanks. I have plenty of 1/4" T-screws that are Slingerland or Ludwig compatible (in -between the "mickey mouse" and black plastic era). They are interchangeable. The weird thing on this one is that the screw shown above is that it is much longer than a standard Slingerland/Ludwig 1/4" T-screw, and it needs to be to go all the way through the tilter. Did Slingerland make a specific T-screw that was longer than the others just for the tilter? All the ones I have (and have seen) are pretty much the same length, which is not long enough for the tilter I have.

Just to be clear, this is a flat base, Red label Slingerland cymbal stand. The tilter is fixed and non-removeable. I can post a picture or two if necessary. I would assume the top piece of the stand (where the tilter is attached) is an original Slingerland and not a piece of another stand, because the square nut and tiliter threading are standard 1/4", so it couldn't be an MIJ knock off I would think.

Any help would be appreciated, as I am pretty illiterate when it comes to Slingerland.

Thanks.

Here are some more pictures:

This top section is solid (not hollow) like Ludwig stands, but it seems a bit thicker. I am assuming it's a USA made stand, because the threading on the square nut and the threading on the cymbal tilter (where the cymbal sits) is standard 1/4" USA threading. The square nut is recessed so it sits flush, but it is removeable.

Anyone know any more? The Slingerland sticker on the tripod section of the stand is Red.

I don't think that tilter is Slingerland, do you have more that match?

Yeah, the thing in your photo is not Slingerland's.

Your stand may have a Slingerland base, but the top section is something else. It doesn't look like an American piece.
