Boy I'm glad I'n not hunting for one of these sets. I got min in the late 90's for 800 bucks and it was well worth it. It may not be as nice as this one as the bass drum interior was painted black but man it's a great looking original wrap set. $4500 seems crazy to me!

Agreed with the above, however, I tend to think his 80k comment was akin to saying "they made a bojillion of these kits." That does (as mentioned) seem to be counter-intuitive as to the perceived value of the kit.

That's exactly why I bought a Sky Blue Pearl. I actually play my drums.

Of Course this could always be the old "look honey I put my drums up for sale but nobody would buy them, guess I'll have to keep them until the economy is better."
