The hardware looks like '70s Tama. So it could be a Star from early '70s right around the time of the name change. But I'm inclined to think this could be another MIJ company that we're not familiar with. I know a couple have popped up that were Star / Tama look a likes, but weren't made by the major three. Have to see if I can find one of the threads.

I agree with Jay re similarity with Tama early 70's tom mount... That last pic of FT leg mount (upside down tom)?? looks a bit odd..

In my first post there, you can see the difference to Star lugs: these here are 'flat' on the top, while the Star ones have a small ridge at that area.

This one isn't Star (... by TAMA ...) made.
