Is this a P-338?

There's a seller offering up this strainer as a P-338.

While there's no doubt this is a valuable older strainer, it looks to me like a Pioneer strainer, as shown on Vintage Drum Guide.

My understanding is that the P-338 sports a different shape at the bottom where the guts / wires go through, as shown in this picture:

Yes, that is a P-338....those are my photos from my eBay auction...Your reference is any L&L catalog of the era but for those that don't have 1920s L&L catalogs go to pg. 201 of Rob Cook's Ludwig Book...see attached photos.
