I've found a set which looks to be a stage band in blue agate. Is it rare? I'm really a Ludwig guy but I might buy this one. What would be a good price? I need some history. Help me out.

I don't know if the color itself is rare. Yellow Agate certainly is rare. But, being a Stage Band kit, that's kind of unusual. But also being a Stage Band kit, it'll be less in demand. (I don't think Stage Bands get the respect Club Dates are starting to get.)
Personally though, I really really dig the color. I'd get it, if the price was nice, but that's just me.

I'm not a big fan of the single lug but I really dig the color, that was my first kit. Whats the price?

hey ,
check the badges and see if they are shelbyville. That would make them a rare item.
