Is a hoop a hoop?

Loading...

I am wraping some Pearl stencil drums that I bought. The floor tom is missing a bottom hoop and tension screws. Will the Gibralter ones from Musicians Freind work as replacement? Aslo wondering about the threads on the tension rods, are they all metric or do I have to watch out for metric or standard threaded rods. And one more thing, I will need new gromments, what is a good source for those and is ther a good way to remove them without damage enough to reuse? I destroyed mine, was in a hurry.

Thank you!

Thank you!

Use these Jeff, they are the same ones and cost less. This guy is the best where pricing and customer service is concerned. He wants you to return and buy all you can and will make you a happy buyer, almost without question or concern. His name is Matt and he will take better care of you than you could ever imagine!

Hey thanks for the tip. You would think this is easy but actually there are a lot of parts made by different companies for many years.

Thank you!

If your T-rods are in less than good condition, just buy some new ones, and get the insert to go with. Matt knows what it will take, call and ask him which rods will work, or inserts for that matter.
