Interesting Wrap on a Beverly Kit-Craigslist Chicago/Indy Area

Loading...

Greetings,

Found these while searching the "nearby areas" option on CL. Love that wrap. Almost looks like a Swivo-mount installed on the bass. I dig the "washboard" lugs too!

These are pricey, but you gotta love that wrap! Original heads included too. Here's the link, but also saved some pictures for posterity.

Enjoy!

A beautiful kit ! I have a Beverley single tension snare in the Blue Oyster. Kind of reminds me of cheese cake . . .

If I had the cash, this kit would be on its way to my house as an Xmas gift to myself !

If snare is solid that’s a nice drum had one once , but yes out of ballpark for me

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Love that Raspberry Ripple finish. Those could be had for a best offer, I bet.

Solid kit, no doubt. A bit high in price, imo.

I asked the seller if he'd ship and the answer was, "I'd rather not."

He's delusional if he thinks he'll get $800 for a Beverly set. I see $500-600 max.

I recently gave 500.00 (shipped) from new Jersey

for these similar blue oyster Kents

They have the factory installed Walberg and Auge rail mount

and the typical factory mis-match of lug styles

The bass drum hoops were warped beyond being useful and replaced by my seller

The resonant bass drum head was a personalized job

so the Premier head is just temporary

The second mounted tom with matching lugs was purchased separately

but incredibly on the same evening

This second tom is fitted with the more typical Kent mount

I tried to buy these same drums over six months ago

but that seller in Maryland would not ship them

In comparison, if those Bev's which are much more original

were like 600.00 or 700.00

with another hundred for cooperative shipping

I would likely be haunted by them as they sure are nice

Great looking kit, Kenwood. And to find the match on the same day makes it that much sweeter! Congrats, I really like those!
