The seller has what appears to be a matching 8" x 12" and 9" x 13".

I don't think I've seen a baseball bat muffler on a Star before. Dig the finish too! Almost a pseudo, colored butcher block.

A pair of rare finish toms.some call the finish "Root Beer" pearl..The B/B muffler was only use for one year if i recall right 1967.

Then Ludwig went after Star for copy right's on the muffler...Mikey

This is indeed a rare color. It is correctly known as "Fibre Gold"

I've got a snare drum with this muffler. It's actually better engineered than Ludwig's! You can loosen the nut on the shaft, enabling the muffler pad to be moved up/down a bit for more/less contact with the head depending on your needs. Can't do that with the Ludwig!
