Inspiration thru VDF...

I came across some pics of my 1st Vintage kit..

As I found it for $60.?

I started asking questions & got answers & encouragement..

Thru VDF & Another Rogers Forum...

I was Helped in many ways...

A few years passed & I'm comfortable playing 3kits & have a decent collection of Snares & Cymbals...

Several Big Thank you's are in order...

Both Screen names 4 Both Forums would be the same (Rims N Skins)..

Heres some pics...from start to current..

It takes just a little bit of courage and naivete to attack something like that as a first endeavor, and a whole lot of determination to see it through. I have enjoyed the postings you have made in the past few years and really hope I made comments that were of value.

pic 1 ...bass drum showing extra holes for japan railmount..(13`also had the same)..

pic 2 ..the 3 shells 20 16 13

pic 3 I believe was the paper tag of the bass drum...looks to be a virgin before somebody drilled it..

pic 4 Has 2 bare toms...the tall one (13x9) is the orig with the wrap removed...The shorter (12x8)

I purchased with a mahogany wrap on her...I removed too rewrap both..

serial number puts it about early 69 about the 1st shell to come out of Fullerton..
