On the Rocker's: Only the B/W badged with USA on the right side, please. These drums were made at the Monroe, NC plant just after the move from Chicago.

This is interesting to me, too. I have a few other reports of apparently original sets that have dissimilar characteristics - interiors, lug styles - so it certainly could have come together that way from the factory or the retailer. Is there anything in particular about your set's history that makes you not doubt it came together? Note, I am not questioning your statement, just trying to add notes to the information about your set.

I may have neglected to tell you this, but my Standard's are that way as well. my 12" tom has a white interior, the rest granitone. All of the drums are dated 1969.

The only date I see is the 22" has a date of Oct 89 stamped in it.

These are 4 ply. They all have clear interiors.

Only t/ they came together & the 3's are close. Could be pieced together - but it does have the original double tom mount, so it'd seem reasonable that they came together -

Yes my Standards all have Granitone interiors with re-rings.

Are Standard wood bd hoops & COS hoops the same you'll find on the higher end Ludwig drums (Downbeat, Hollywood, etc)?

That's a good question. I did compare the BD hoops once, and they are exactly like the ones on my '66 Classic. I'm not sure about the rims. I guess I better dig my micro-meter out and measure.

Just measured. The rims and hoops are the same as on my '66 Ludwig kit.
