Information on Premier Snares

Loading...

I purchased a Premier Olympic snare and wanted to know if there was a way I could find out how old it is based on the serial number. All the websites I find don't list serial numbers. Help2

Serial number for Premier/Olympic are pretty much useless.

Clear pictures of throw and butt plate, lugs, shell (interior) and tone control would get you what you want.

I've attached some pictures of the snare, if anyone can help me date it.

That is a Olympic 1005 - could be from the seventies or eighties.

Strainer not original.

A very much standard steelsnare, that is cheap but sounds OK.
