Info on Premier Dominion Snare?

Loading...

Hey guys,

Just had a Premier Dominion snare given to me by a family friend. From what I can tell from various internet pages, this is the original, made prior to the Dominion Major/Minor/Ace. The rim reads only 'Dominion'. Can anyone give me any info regarding this? What's it worth? (Not that I'm looking to sell it of course).

Thanks a lot!

Nice drum! There are not so many complete ones around, ebay uk should give you a pointer to the price. They come up there from time to time.

Great that you got one that fits modern heads - although you might find the snarebed to be rather narrow and deep for a plastic head.

They sound very nice, quite unlike a modern brass-snares harshness.

Most cool acquisition there - even still has the little snare lever! I'm not selling either of mine (see below) but a (low) starting price is around 120 GBP from what I've read on the Forum. Will fix up a treat should you go for it. These beauties are very loud, warm and deep! Good luck with it!
