in search of 1979 slingerland snare drum

Back in 1982 my treasured Slingerland snare drum was stolen from a practice facility. It was a gift from my parents and I have been trying to replace it ever since. I have yet to locate this beautiful, rare drum. Apparently there were not many 2 to 1 drums made that year.

It is a 1979 Slingerland 2 to 1 Laquered Brass 6.5x14". Many snares have come and gone but this special gift is one I would like to have and to hold. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This will be a tough one to run down. rare drum to start with.

I know! And to think someone is out there enjoying my rare drum! Well I hope that someone is enjoying it at least... Thanks for the reply - let me know if you hear of any leads.
