[COLOR="Purple"]Oomph....looks like a faded Black Oyster Pearl which also has some other hues going on in it. Very pretty, very vintage Japanese. Very hard to match because a) it's a rare wrap to begin with, and b) it's fade is probably pretty unique.

Cool kit.....best of luck.

Gene, you would be lucky to find any matching drums, let alone a 14" floor tom. Those are like 1:20 compared to 16s. The snare appears to be a Pearl. Please, help me out here. I want to see some close ups of the snare and bass. For the bass, I need to see the lugs and Ts, the rail mount and tom mount. For the snare, I need to see the lugs and the strainer. This could be a mixed kit as many people trashed the old MIJ wood snares and replaced them with whatever cheap chromie they could find, which was usually this Pearl stencil snare.

Kick drum, both hoops are metal, the wrapping came off one of them. Replaced all the T, all lot of them were too rusty, stripped and broke!

I bought the Diamond mount piece from MIKEY777 with some odd ball screws. The holes matched prefected (one of my biggest fears buying online) Would be sweet to get an arm mount. But I'm happy using a stand

Glue were the badging was? The guy I got these from said they were ludwigs. He gave them to me for free! I knew nothing about old drums, Still had fun working and finding parts. Still a work in progress as you can see!

Floor Tom, Scuffed up! but was able to buff most of them out.

The overall kit has some torn wrapping (floor tom, kick drum upper (left hand coner on pic). They Sound amazing. We use them live! The sound guy loved them. He done sound for alot of touring bands. 14 inch tom would be awesome.

Here the brought out of attic after sitting up in my attic for 6 years pic

Hoshino! Shark tooth lugs! FYI, there may not have been a 14" floor tom ever made. Have we ever seen a Hoshino 14" floor tom?

yes, look like Hoshino to me rather than star. I just finished and gifted a similar kit over here. It had a 14" FT in that finish. They do exist.
