Let us not forget:
"Yeah, there are no wrong prices for things that are no longer made and from an era the likes of which will never return-ever. There is no room with "the" drum guys deciding what things are/aren't worth." Quote; O-Lugs 6-15-2019 VDF
We have a couple members here who could actually afford that asking price (certainly not me), but is a one-of-a-kind piece of drum history worth $85,000? It very well could be considering that someone paid a $million for one of Ringo's original bass reso heads.
The really neat thing about this Gladstone is that this very drum and stand are featured on the cover of Ted Reed's book...

A true piece of drum history indeed.

No doubt the coolest drum to ever be on Ebay I reckon! If I had the money, then this would be a toy I would want to have. Alas....:(
