what did you like about it the most? Ive always been drawn to large thin cymbals. here lately though, ive opened my ears,eyes and mind to others though. I usually collect and play vintage avedis. I particularly enjoy the hollow block models from the mid 50's. I recently found a 22 that is a hefty for me 2800 grams. I normally play 22's at 2400 or so. this thing does it all for me though. crashes beautifully and quickly,varied ride sounds and a nice wobble. I would have never guessed it. I mention all this because of the 2300 weight on that elvin 20. I know you've got some super thin 20's. ive got a vintage 20 avedis in the 1600 gram range that I love. nice to see a 2300 get some love...

The tonal colors are what attract me to this one. I'm personal friends with the guy who handed it off to Maxwell's to sell. He didn't want to part with it, but his financial situation dictated that he had to.

Evidently that 22" of yours provides you with all you could want in a cymbal. And that's proof positive that you can still fall in love with a girl who has a little more meat on the bone.
