Identifying strainer

Can anyone identify this strainer?

Thanks for the input Mr. Curotto, and Rich K. It did in fact come off a snare drum, but has no badge, the shell looks like 3 ply, maple inside, then poplar, and mahogany on the outside, and yes it does have tube lugs, 8, nickle over brass and the hoops are chrome over brass. The shell is solid, sound and in round. I removed the old paint and am going to refinish the outside naturally. Thanks,bye.

Looks like a Slingerland that was used in the '30s on their mid / lower level metal tube lug drum.
