Identifying Ludwig Snare

Loading...

I'm trying to find out what kind of snare this is and how much it's worth. It was thrown in with my slingerlands, and now I'm debating selling it to pay for some better cymbals. It's a Ludwig brass snare, 6 1/2 by 14, with a Monroe badge. The top hoop is a Ludwig die cast, and the bottom is (I'm assuming non-original) a triple flanged.

Thanks!

Troy

Not an expert... just like to take a shot at these.

Post 1988 badge.. Imperial lugs... P-85 with a slot... Brass shell.. I'm going to say that is a post 1994 Supraphonic. Like $300 or so maybe a little more...

But hey... I'm wrong quite often on these drums.. so get a second opinion for sure!!!

Hmmm... I can't figure that model number.. Bronze, Chrome, Black, Brass,,, different lug types (apperantly you could get the drum tubes as well). This might be it.. LUDLB402B list price new $400+

Of course that might not be the right drum. :(

It's a very nice looking drum!

Not a Guru... just interested..
