Not sure of the exact name, but it was a play on Van Halen. I did a rehearsal last year with a band, and they had the same set, but in red and white. They sounded pretty dreadful.

The kit also had a matching head. A friend has one at his house I was fooling around on. Not a great kit and definitely not the sweet vintage Ludwig or Rogers sound. More of a players kit than a collectors kit.

Swingstar was a lower line of Tama, so, the sound quality won`t be the same as the upper lines...These drums are built quite solid though!!

These are actually called ImageStars. Don't know if this is the real name for the color wrap: Flashpoint black or red. See link below. There's an animal print and a barbwire print both in black.
