identification help needed Last viewed: 7 hours ago

I received a snare drum in a group of items and its maker is a mystery. Now , I know that pictures are always required for such a situation but I can't do that right now and this one should be pretty simple, due to one very unique characteristic.

It is a pretty high end drum---- 14 x 5,10 lugs per head , chrome on brass, hoops furl in at the top. It looks European but the real identifying point is the tension rods(screws). They have a rectangular head 8mm x 5mm and the ends of the long side are slightly rounded----the short dimension has flat sides.

Has anyone ever come across this kind of t-rod before? The drum looks a bit Meazzi-like.
