Idendification Trixon Drumset

Loading...

Hello and greetings from Germany.,

I am just new to this forum, so I am not sure if you could help me trying to identify the drum set I recently get for very low money. A friend told me, that it might be a Trixon drum set and I m very sure it is. Could some one please help me to identify the year of production? And what it might be worth?

Thank you

Holger

Hello

Grüße aus Österreich!

What you have there is no TRIXON. This Set is a TROMSA (TRommelwerk Sattler) from the late 60s start of the 70s. Thin beech shells with rering-these Sets are made very cheap but the have an awesome sound! I am a big fan of them! The value is not very high because tere is no collectors lobby for that company-wich is very sad:-(

I would say they way you have it there with all the cymbaly-i guess about 350 Euro the highest price you might get for it! Cool set by the way:-)

I hope that helps.

For more info look here or PM me;-)

Hello and Grüße nach Österreich.

Thanks for the information. Actually I am playing bass and guitar but since I am very much into 60ies / 70ies and know how to play drums a little bit I will keep the drum set. I like the look of it very much.

I got it more or less accidently on a job as a gardener, when I was working for an old lady. When she told me that her departed husband was a drummer in a band I got curious and she showed me his musical gear in the attic. Beside the drum set there was a small PA made by japanese company EVANS for vocals in a great condition, microphones and some other small stuff. She wanted to get rid of it all and so I took it for 120€. Nice story.

Bye
