Can anyone help me to identify this kit. Never seen this sort of lugs before. Apart from them they look like a japanese-kit. Any ideas? Value?

Yep, this is a CB-700 from the 70s-80s.

I'm going out on a limb here-I think these drums are put together.I've never seen CB's with that tom mount system,OR speckle interiors.Or olive green covering.I'm thinking those are the infamous Island Music Rogers/Gretsch Blackhawk MIT's with replacement CB lugs.Originals were of extremely poor quality, and would either snap right off or rot off.

Well, there is a badge on the floor tom and the tom mount plate oin the top of the bass looks to be a TAMA, so there is any number of things "wrong" with this kit. The badge is reminicent of a CB badge, no?

That "Tama"plate is probably an extremely poor quality copy, with the special "auto-strip"thread feature. The spurs and any other metal piece share these p/poor-quality castings. The Blachawks I bought off C/L-every cast piece had to be replaced w/actual Tama parts. They were a similar metallic covering-blue(not green) and had speckle interiors.I'd like to see the badge on the f/t.It's not Blackhawk-it was an octagon shape.

I just noticed the bass is 10 lug-not common for CB's(but not unheard of) but very common on IM Rogers and early Blackhawks. When I worked at Charles Bean music in St.Pete,FL,they dealt with alot of student level sets, and alot of CB's and Percussion Plus sets went out the door.Thoroughbred Music in Tampa sold Blackhawks and a LOT of cheap Tamas.

I'm thinking it's possible those drums may be the ultimate hodge podge, assembled in Taiwan from whatever was laying around including the CB lugs.
