I'll have to look in my attic-I either have or had an older Ludwig strainer with a throw and individual snare holes...it's spray painted blue.

I used Minwax Wood Finish dark walnut oil stain and a few coats of Minwax wipe-on ploy. The reddish tint is from the wood.

I ended up using a standard Ludwig throw. It's not vintage or fancy, but works just fine and fit the existing holes. I plugged the holes from the tacky drum key holder with wood putty.
