Certainly an uncommon wrap, but it's a shame that the drums aren't in better condition. That being said, I've got a 1968 psych red kit and would love to have the matching snare. PM sent.
I think I found something Psychedelic
jazz festie snare. rare wrap. i think you could get even more than 250 for that drum. pity about the floor tom though. good luck finding a match.
That's a great find! congrats.
But, the first thing that popped to my mind was: those seems to be rewraps?
First off, Ive never seen a club date with psychofinish and there are some really strange modification to these, like cutting the floor tom in half (why would anyone wanna do something like that? unless you wanna use that half to make a snare..)
the interiors are all painted black, if any, shouldnt they be painted white if these were original?
And doesn't the wrap seem a bit different from the how the red psychos usually looks? might be because of the age of these..
personally, I would keep this and look at ebay for a 14" club date shell or ft, they are not THAT rare, you can definitly find one for a reasonable price.. and then send a tom to that guy that makes replica-wraps and make him produce a matching piece of wrap for those.. and then rewrap the ft.. that would make this kit more fun to own and sell..
My man, that is a valuable set of drums; that snare is worth some cash for sure. THe interiors were repainted, as you can see the screws and all were repainted. If they were mine, I would quit work, and get to removing the paint interior from those babies. Is the snare interior painted too? That is such a bummer, but still, niiice drums.
you could definitely salvage that floor tom, make it into a snare by putting a bottom edge on it, redrilling, etc.
Wow, a Psych Red Jazz Fest! Not that's rare, and worth a small fortune. Hopefully it wasn't painted as well on the inside...I couldn't tell from the photos. If it's not painted, it's quite valuable...$2K or more. If it's painted black or has any problems, maybe $1k? Not sure, would have to see it.
The other drums unfortunately aren't worth a whole lot, I think $400 is an accurate figure.

My thoughts exactly!
