I need some help from the Gretsch experts.

I have an 8"x14" Gretsch square badge snare drum with the model # M 4155, above the model number are the letters WR. the serial number is 34307. Any information on this drum would be greatly appreciated, i.e. model name, year, wood or value. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the links, I did check them out before and the only thing I could gather was that the drum was made between 1981 and 1998. thanks again for your response.

I haven't found a real good book that details Gretsch drums.. I have a history but it is pretty much about the players and some special kits.

Not a Guru... just interested..

The WR letters indicate the color code: ROSEWOOD for your snare.
