I need help Identifying this Floor Tom Last viewed: 20 seconds ago

Loading...

I got this 16" floor tom several yrs ago with a 60's Black Oyster Pearl kit I bought.

It has no vent hole, therefore no grommet or badge. It has 2 holes similar to Ludwig muffler holes, but they are slightly larger holes than the ludwigs I have. It was originally WMP but someone got creative with paint all over it. The legs are straight and the lugs don't look familiar to me.

It has a clear maple interior with re rings. It has a stamp inside that looks like something 1966 and a "P" stamped on it.

It may be possible to strip the paint off of the wrap succesfully. I have done it to another WMP Floor tom I have. Heres the details on stripping paint off of a WMP floor tom. http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=10321&highlight=safest+stripper
