I need help identifying my Slingerland snare

Loading...

1. Drum Shell Material -- Single ply wood

2. Drum Finish -- Marine pearl

3. Drum Badge -- Oval Slingerland-black & brass- Niles, IL

3. Drum Dimensions -- 5 1/2" x 14"

4. Interior Finish -- Natural

5. Hardware Configuration -- 8 lugs & chrome hoops

6. Strainer Type -- Clamshell

7. Any defects etc. -- None whatsoever

I think it may be the Hollywood Ace from 1960-1962 but I'm not sure. Any help on identifying it would be great! THANKS!

It is NOT a Hollywood ace. Hollywood Ace snares had a radio king or rapid

strainer. I think this snare is a Super Gene Krupa Radio King.

Value is probably $300 - $500

That is without pictures and seeing the drum.

Is the WMP yellowed and how much?
