Mikey, here is a little step by step on how to post photos. I haven't had to resize any pics yet.

When you are posting, just above the box where you type your text, you have options for font, size, etc. Next to the font and size there is a happy face icon and next to that is a paperclip icon. Click on the paperclip icon and it will bring up a box that says 'manage attachments.'

When that comes up, click on 'browse.' This will bring up a list of files/places on your computer, so if you have the photo in a file or on your desktop you can choose the file or wherever your pics are and you can choose the pic you want. When you click on the name of the pic you want it fills in in the attachment box. Hit the 'upload' box right next to the 'browse' box and give it a few seconds. When it finishes uploading it is automatically part of your post. You can hit 'preview post' to see what they look like before actually submitting the post to the thread. But once you are done looking at the preview, if it looks good, dont forget to hit 'submit post.' As you probably know, if the photo is big, it will be part of the message as a 'thumbnail'l pic, which we can click on to enlarge.

Give this a try. It is actually much, much easier than this makes it sound.

I dont think we can post pics in PMs, however. Hope this helps.

Mikey,

If you are running XP, there is a plug-in that will allow you to resize pics for web use. I posted the link somewhere around here.. let me find it...

Who do you play for? you can send it in a PM if you don't want to post it. Are you doing anything in OKC or Tulsa anytime soon? And if so....could you hook a brother up?

Mikey

Paint is part of Windows

Right click on the photo you want to post

A box will open, choose PAINT

click on IMAGE at the top of the page

Select... Stretch/Skew

Enter 50%, or whatever percentage you like.

Click "OK"... if that is the size you want ( pretty much what you see will be what we see when you post it), click on File

Select "Save As" and re-name the file

Use that picture to post with.

If you set your camera to 640x480 sized, your pics will be small enough to post without re-sizing

You can call me if you like, and we can go through it together...

send me an email and I'll give you my number.

Some discussions here you have said you have flown in to places and had play XX kits that were backlined. I just wondered who you play for?

Mikey,

Another cool way to post large pics on a thread is this.

go to www.photobucket.com set up a account for free. This is a photo hosting website. You can set up different albums and upload any size pic to the album.

once you get your pics all in the album you go to the pic you want to put on here click on share right above the pic, then click get link code, and then go to code for forum use, right click on the link and click copy, then come back here and right click paste, and it pastes the link on your post, then the pic shows up when you submit your reply. These pics are larger.
