One of the things we laugh about is when the casting agencies say "We need fresh faces!" & we say "Yeah, the back of my neck was visible for .0001 seconds 40 yards away!"

I'm not trying to be a star, I'm early retired (not exactly voluntary), I enjoy it & make a few bucks.

I know you`re paid well. My Nephew did a skit for Wahlberg over in Chelsea. I drove him there twice. He dressed up classy, three days and $1500 later, I`m teasing him about being paid not to be in the movies. You couldn`t see him in that crowd.

It's a weird show, based on a comic from the 90s. not to everyone's taste. You can also see me in the church scenes, far right against the window, modern times so I'm wearing a light brown shirt & vest.

Found out last night that they'll be filming the band again next week & they haven't decided whether we'll be pantomiming or actually playing. If we play then that's a whole different contract, I'm pretty sure that means a LOT more money & IMDB credit :)

Got there late due to an accident on the freeway, no big deal, the film industry is a lot of "Hurry up & wait" :D Got my drums set up on the postage stamp stage & then they wanted us to "set up", we told the PA that there was no way in h*** we could actually set up without making a lot of noise, which is a big no-no (they had us wear boots & they put rubber pieces on the heels because the bar has wooden floors).

So we walked back & forth carrying the soft guitar cases & my cymbal bag :D

They told us we'll be "the band" for the rest of filming through July, there's a chance we might actually play, but I found out this is a low-budget production so I'm not holding my breath. We did get paid more than regular background, I can live with that, 'specially since we were there about the length of a regular bar gig :)
