Are the prices that I see on eBay for vintage Ludwig drums (etc.) for real? I just seen a 60's vintage bass drum listed as B.I.N for over $1000.

???

Bass drums just as snare drums can be rare so can bass drums, depending on the year, color.wrap. condition, rarity, celebrity owned or played,so bass drums can demand some crazy prices!

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

You can't go by what they are listed for. Some people list their drums at 3 times, 5 times or even 10 times what they are worth.

However, if you go to the "completed auctions" and look at what an item actually SOLD for, then you have a realistic idea of the value of that item.

eBay is a great indicator of the "going price" or "market price" for an item (drums or otherwise). Not always 100% but, a good indicator.
