I am restoring an old Sling snare that I have had in my possesion for quite some time. I vaguely remember the original strainer falling apart about a million years ago. I have been scouring the web and e bay for quite some time trying to locate a clamshell strainer to replace the cheap modern one that is on it now. I am NOT in a situation that would allow me to drain my whole life savings on one. But if anybody has any idea where I could score one at a reasonable price, I would appreciate it!
