I was wondering if anyone has any information on HyLo drums ?

I have a set marked HyLo Japan, the floor tom is marked Artist Ltd. "The Worlds Finest" Made in Japan. The set appears to be from mid 60's to very early 70's but I am not sure. Any information is very much appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the VDF...If you post pics you will get a more accurate assessment from the membership...

I can state that the Artist Ltd. floor tom would be a Star (later became Tama) made drum...Probably 5 ply (no re-rings), which would place it manufactured later than 1967...

I believe the Hy Lo drums were made by Pearl, but, I`m only speculating at this time without pics...

Cheers
