how to remove logo from regal tip sticks?

Loading...

hi there,

maybe this seems to be a strange question, but:

[rant]

i really do like the feel of my trusty regaltip 5a

but i am really ****ed of by that obnoxious big logo they put on them.

i am not an endorser... i paid for them...

[/rant]

i tried to remove it with acetone, but of course this also destroys the laqer finish.

alcohol and benzine dont work either...

any ideas, thank

Now if we could only get aeropostale and abercrombie and hilfiger logos off of our clothes!

Regal Tip 5As are great sticks; I think the logo looks cool! I'm expecting a call on my endorsement deal. . . Walking

Was the logo printed before the clear topcoat was put on? If I were making them that's how I'd do it, so the logo wouldn't rub off.

If so you'd have to damage it to take off the logo.

or

Maybe make up your own logo stamp that says something like "Maytag", "Nixon for President!" or "EAT AT JOE'S".

When I saw Alphonse Mouzon in '75 I thought that his bass drums should have had the Adidas or Nike logo on the front heads.

I think I would just hold them so the logo wasn't visible while I was playing if it was an issue for me. Do you remove logos from heads and hardware and badges from drums also?

^Ha, haaaaa. I was thinking the same thing. Oy!

Another solution: Vic Firth American Classic 5A's and spin 'em around (yes, I actually tried it). Maybe don't play in the mirror so much?
