Hello..can you tell,how thick are famous Ludwig 3 ply shells?(in mm or inches)What was thiknes of reinforcment rings,and what kind of bearing edges were?

1/4" inch thick (1/16" maple/mahogany ply, 1/8" poplar ply, 1/16" maple/mahogany ply) with 1/4" reinforcing rings. The edges didn't have a term like you hear today: "45 degree bearing edges with a slight roll-over" or whatever. They were pretty rounded so a lot of the head came in contact with a lot of the edge. That's why they sound so good...
