How not to remove a badge from a shell

Loading...

I bought a large load of drums one time where several of the drums had a large hole either cut out or they looked like they had been hit with a hammer -- right where the badge should have been. On most of the drums where that had happened the shells where indeed otherwise already damaged, mostly beyond any type of repair...

Hopefully that was the case here...

I suspect the shell was worth nothing. Could have been water damaged and plys coming apart. Could have been dropped and broken. Many ways the shell could be damaged beyond repair.

Very true !! I was just picturing in my mind some random nice tom or snare shell and someone thinking "wow this badge is worth easy money" as they hack it off. Somewhat skilled hacker though with a hole saw.
