GULP....you have BOTH a 14x14 FT and a 14x18 bass drum.

let's put it this way...ALONE....a separate orphan pieces....

the FT is worth about $700-800....

the snare is worth about $250-350....

and the bass drum is worth about $500....

so, in a matching KIT....in decent shape ?

.....holy crap ! Jump For Joy $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Original finish?

From the numbers, ....... I would estimate, 1966 Late Cleveland. All should have beavertail lugs.

Hard to say without the specific information on each paper tag.

I'll upload some pics soon.

Just dug out the snare drum today for a session. Remembered that I had the bearing edges worked on. That will probably devalue it a bit.

Sounded pretty good! I still want a 60's Ludwig Psychedelic Red Jazz Fest snare though to complete my #1 kit.... Maybe someone out there will trade!

A Psych Red Jazz Fest is EXTREMELY rare, so much so that I've never actually seen one, even on the internet! Nor do I know anyone that has ever seen one. I've heard of them existing, but haven't seen any proof (yet). Kurt, do you know of any? I've seen two or three 6 luggers though. Your best bet might be to find a donor vintage floor tom or bass drum and make a snare using the wrap. Unfortunately none of the reissue wraps have been able to really capture the original look of Psych Red.

Having said that, if you do find someone with an original Psych Red Jazz Fest, I think your Rogers bop kit would be a fair trade.
