This is a recent aquisition that will be residing in my home for quite some time. Usually I flip my vintage gear to help fund my little drum building hobby but you don't run across these every day. Especially not in this good of condition...

Every last nut and bolt is original... still have the original silk snare wires.. and at least one of the original calf heads. I did pick up another calf head to put on the bottom but for now it's just a modern Remo. She even sounds great!

Ebay steal... always nice to give a wayward old drum a nice new warm home. :D

I should say it wasn't so much of a restoration as a good cleaning. The drum was in excellent shape with just the tarnish as you can see in the original photos.

Nice restoration job! The drum looked pretty good when you got it...sometimes we luck out and only need to do a light cleaning/restoration..
