Hoop Source, Anybody?

Loading...

Just wondering if anybody might be able to recommend a source for some maple hoops? I've got a kit that's got them on my snare and bass drum and I was thinking of completing the look on the 13" and 16" toms. I've seen those Yamaha hoops but they're WAY beyond what my budget allows. Any and all "words of wisdom" would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time and your help!

Drum factory direct would be a good place to hunt. They should have wood hoops in all sizes as well as the claws for them.

I'm going to plug Precision Drum Co. again. They can and do make all sorts of custom hoops as needed.

Might be worth a look for comparison at least.

Excellent (hand) craftsmanship there.
