High quality, but cheap cymbals?

From BosLover

Sorry. Misunderstood. When you referred to the Istanbul made line, I wrongfully assumed it was a Chinese manufactured line made in the Istanbul or Turkish "style". Chinese made Wuhan cymbals have different lines. Some are meant to more closely emulate the Turkish cymbal style. I should have read your post more closely.

No worries.

I am sure you were not alone in such an assumption which I am also sure is part of the reason the line failed and was discontinued. People are more suspicious than trusting of such new brands.

Plus, There are too many fairly recent brands of cymbals made in Turkey for them to all succeed. The cymbal market has got to be a tough place to create new brand name recognition

I've found for the price, the Wuhans were a pretty darn good deal for B20's.

This one's only $359.99 for all. However, I agree with just shopping on line for good quality cymbals via eBay or Craigslist etc, a little at a time until you could get a whole set costing maybe around the 5-600.00 dollar range over time but with alot more satisfaction.
