Well I guess I wasn't the first guy to think of it then!

But I may give it a shot. I have the 14" new beats and 13" k custom dark hats in house now. The 15" field cymbals are in New Hampshire...

I have a second set of hats on the left (I am left handed.)

I have had this thing probably since the 80's and I love it. It's mounted near my ride cymbal. I don't see a brand name on it, Tama would be my guess.

There is a spring between the top and bottom cymbal. The wing nut on the top controls how tight the cymbals are. I like it pretty loose most of the time so they have a nice wash, but you can tighten it up anywhere you like.

Look at the Tama MXA53.
