Hi everyone!! new member, and need some K istanbul stamp help..

Would anyone be able to help me date this stamp.., my own attempt came out at early 1950s

It's a 16inch crash ,crash ride perhaps? , I'm thinking of selling but not sure what a reasonable price would be...anyone able to help?

That's an "old stamp" from the early 1950's. That should be worth around $300 to $350. K. Zildjian didn't make crash-rides as such. Just thin,medium, and heavy. It was left up to the individual to determine its best use.

Thin would be under 1000g, medium probably around 1275g, for a 16". A heavy would be over 1400g.

So, that seems like a very, very nice weight that would fetch the higher end of Drumaholic's quote...particularly because it still has the signature very clear....[/COLOR]

And...no it's not Justin, I'm playing with him though, I'm cbp's drummer, makes me wonder if I should change my user name..., mmmm..think I will

Hi - I used to play in Narcosis, and we did a couple of early gigs with Hard to Swallow, also Peet joined us on vox when they split - just recognised the name cos I knew Justin was in CBP - like the stuff btw!
