Hi everybody..new meber here needs help

Loading...

So glad I found this site!!

I'm a bit of an enthusiast, for old Luddys!!

Currently I have a 70's Amber vistalite (bought from Michael Lees and signed by him), a 70's stainless steel, a 70's barber shop swirl vistalite, and various snare drums....

.Now, my problem, I have recently been offered a black plastic wrap 14" x 8"

12 lug wooden snare drum, blue and olive badge with rounded corners......I can't find any drum this size in any of my reference books and I am desperate to know what the model is and what it might be worth!!

Can anybody on this forum offer an opinion??

Look forward to your replies and catching up with a lot of the other posts I've yet to read...keep on hitting things fellow tub thumpers!!

Souns like a Ludwig colliseum snare drum. Made around 1981 or so. I would guess maybe between $3-400.00. They were made in the hard rock era. They also made a slotted version as well. I know someone with the same exact drum.
