If they're asking any more than fifty bucks, I'd pass. Wrap gone from cheap luan shells that have been varnished, mismatched hardware... no vintage value. Nice, new heads could be worth the fifty.

Even 50$ is to much

Thanks, guys - I wasn't sure what to make of the shells. I hadn't considered that the wrap had been removed. Makes sense. The kit is for sale for $350 but includes some very nice older Paiste 2002s - alone worth the asking price. Just wondered if the kit could make this a good deal. No such luck!

Yeah..Not worth much.. But i would ask the seller if he'd be willing to sell you the Paistes for a little less than $300 separately and see what he says.. When i got my vintage Pearl President drums, the seller was selling the entire 5 piece kit with original hardware plus two extra Tama concert toms from the 70's for $300.. I asked if he'd sell me the kit only, and he agreed.. I offered him $250 .
