Help with some hoops please.

Loading...

So I dropped 100 bucks at a pawn show yesterday on a 50 ish WFL Cocktail Drum and a half dozen hoops. I was wondering if I could get some help I.D.ing these hoops first and I will put my cocktail questions up in a separate post.

Exhibit A

The pics in this post are of what I believe to be 8-lug 15 inch C.O.B. hoops. I got four of these. 3 snare bottoms and 1 top. They had Slingerland 50's and 60's written on different hoops. They all pass the magnet test on the C.O.B. end just want to see if the Slingerland/Time Frames seem correct. These measure 15.5 across from inside each end of the rim.

Exhibit B

I have no idea what this one is other than it is really beefy and passed the magnet test as well. It is also an 8 lug that is 15.5 across. This sucker is much heavier than any hoop I have picked up C.O.B or otherwise....built like a tank Kinda looks duller...maybe N.O.B. ? ...would that account for more weight ?

Exhibit C

This is the weirdest one in the pile. Funny it's the only one I thought would be brass and it's the only one that is not. Anyway I have scoured the net and come up with nothing close. If you told me it was part of a lampshade or glass end table I would believe you.....but it was in this same pile of hoops and dude threw it in for free so whatever. This one measure 16 across.

To me Exhibit A and B are Slingerland rims.."C" looks like a glass table top does not look like any drum rim i have ever seen....Mikey

That's two votes for table top !!!! Looks like someone certainly used it as a drum hoop though. Maybe a decorative toy drum ? On the slingerland hoops would the one in exhibit be that much beefier if it was N.O.B. versus C.O.B. ?

Here are a couple pictures of them stacked if that helps out.
